Deepen Your Practice Series ~ Summer Session
Yoga & Meditation : A 10-Week Series

The original purpose of yoga practice was to prepare the body and mind for meditation. In practicing yoga we calm and stabilize the mind and soothe the nervous system using the body and breath. In this series we will explore the intersection between Yoga and Buddhism and explore a number of different teachings and meditation techniques from both traditions. Each week will include a short discussion and an all-levels Kripalu Yoga Practice followed by a 15-minute meditation.
Kripalu yoga is a gentle, meditative style of yoga, where each student is guided to move at their own pace, honoring their body's needs in each moment. The Kripalu approach to yoga is a compassionate, non-judgmental self-inquiry. This class will help you to find balance and achieve a new level of physical, emotional and mental well-being. Lots of options, modifications and challenges will be offered to make this class appropriate for beginners and offer a deep experience for seasoned practitioners.
Open to all levels including beginners. No yoga or meditation knowledge or experience is necessary.
