Join me for Sunday morning practice this spring! As the snow melts and the earth begins it's awakening and renewal into spring take some time to encourage and celebrate your own awakening with this enlivening practice.
I'm delighted to be teaching in this lovely space at DNE School of Dance, which includes a small cafe area. This special Sunday Morning Sadhana class will be led in the Kripalu tradition and will be appropriate for beginners as well experienced students. Each class will include teachings from a variety of spiritual traditions, pranayama (breathwork), asana (postures) and gentle vinyasa (flow of postures) capped off with a long, restful savasana(deep relaxation) & an optional 15-minute sitting meditation. Students are invited to stay after class for tea & conversation.
Kripalu yoga is a gentle, meditative style of yoga, where each student is guided to move at their own pace, honoring their body's needs in each moment. The Kripalu approach to yoga is a compassionate, non-judgmental self-inquiry. This class will help you to find balance as the seasons change and achieve a new level of physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. Lots of options, modifications and challenges will be offered to make this class appropriate for beginners and offering a deep experience for seasoned practitioners.
