This class will help you to find balance as the seasons change and achieve a new level of physical, emotional and mental well-being. The practice will be led in the Kripalu tradition and will be appropriate for beginners as well experienced students.
Kripalu yoga is a gentle, meditative style of yoga, where each student is guided to move at their own pace, honoring their body's needs in each moment. The Kripalu approach to yoga is a compassionate, non-judgmental self-inquiry. Lots of options, modifications and challenges will be offered making this class appropriate for beginners and offering a deep experience for experienced students.
Each class will include Yoga & Buddhist philosophy, poetry & soul-stirring music as well as pranayama (breathwork), asana (postures) and gentle vinyasa (flow of postures) capped off with a long, restful savasana(deep relaxation).

seek stillness and invite transformation...
Yoga Nidra means yogic sleep. This deeply restful and restorative practice has ancient roots in the Yoga Tradition and yet is perfect for helping us to unplug from the distraction, busyness and stress of living in our modern world. Using breath awareness, body sensing and guided meditation you will journey through the layers of your being to the deepest levels of consciousness - the bliss body. This practice is powerful in relieving stress, creating a deeply relaxed state, increasing focus of mind, igniting creativity as well as releasing deeply-held emotional blocks and negative patterns of thought and belief, clearing space for new more positive patterns to take hold. No yoga experience is necessary.
